Honoring small businesses
Monday, May 02, 2016
Many people are surprised to learn that more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business. And did you know that small businesses have created over 65% of new jobs since 1995? That’s a substantial impact.
Since 1963, National Small Business Week has been an annual tradition to recognize the significant contributions made by America’s small business owners. The week begins with a Presidential proclamation and continues with awards and celebrations to honor some of the country’s top entrepreneurs.
This year, National Small Business Week will take place May 1-7. Find out more about how small businesses are helping drive our economy. http://ow.ly/UZQVp
