GROW South Dakota Pays-It-Forward to the Sisseton Library
Friday, September 23, 2016
Libraries are important to forward-thinking communities. With information more and more valuable, libraries still remain one of the best places for people of all ages and all means to have access to information in all kinds of forms. As a result, the Sisseton Library is a vital part of its community. The library is a recipient of a $50 donation from GROW South Dakota’s Pay-It-Forward initiative.
GROW South Dakota has been helping communities for fifty years, and to celebrate that milestone, each staff member and board member has received $50 to donate to a community organization. Dustin Bragg, GROW South Dakota energy auditor, chose to support the Sisseton Library because it’s such an important part of the community.
“As a community development organization, we know that it takes a lot of hard working people and organizations to make communities successful. The Pay-It-Forward program is an opportunity to show our appreciation for all of the organizations that make our communities the great places they are,” said GROW South Dakota CEO Marcia Erickson.
