GROW SD Again Named Exemplary Organization by NeighborWorks America
Thursday, September 08, 2016
GROW SD again received an Exemplary rating from NeighborWorks America this year, the top rating the organization issues. This is the third time in a row that GROW SD has achieved the rating.
The rating system was established to help NeighborWorks report to Congress, funders and taxpayers on its use of grant funds with network organizations. Based on on-site review results, the Organizational Health tracking System Committee affirmed GROW SD’s Exemplary rating during its June 2016 meeting.
NeighborWorks created the rating system in 2006 and reviews its network organizations every three years. The onsite review process evaluates all areas of the organization, including board governance, human resources, programs and policies, and financial information.
There are four ratings: Exemplary, Strong, Satisfactory, and Vulnerable. GROW SD has been a NeighborWorks charter member since 2007.
