GROW South Dakota Pays-It-Forward to Miller Helping Hands
Wednesday, December 07, 2016
Successful communities depend on organizations that look out for people in need. Miller Helping Hands is one of those. The food pantry and thrift store is a recipient of a $50 donation from GROW South Dakota’s Pay-It-Forward initiative.
GROW South Dakota has been helping communities for fifty years, and to celebrate that milestone, each staff member and board member has received $50 to donate to a community organization. Lori Finnesand, co-CEO of GROW South Dakota, chose to support Miller Helping Hands because it meets food, clothing and other needs in the Miller area through its food pantry and thrift store.
“We value our board members and staff and the passion they have for the communities we serve. This Pay-It-Forward event is a small token of our appreciation toward all of the local organizations that make communities better places to live and work,” said GROW South Dakota CEO Lori Finnesand.
