GROW South Dakota Pays-It-Forward to the Eureka Thrift Store
Monday, December 26, 2016
Successful communities depend on organizations and people that make things happen. Sometimes organizations make things happen for other organizations. The Eureka Thrift Store is one of those. The store is a recipient of a $50 donation from GROW South Dakota’s Pay-It-Forward initiative.
GROW South Dakota has been helping communities for fifty years, and to celebrate that milestone, each staff member and board member has received $50 to donate to a community organization. Craig Rau, a GROW SD board member, chose to support the Eureka Thrift Store because it in turn supports the women’s shelter, local food pantry, and ministerial association in Eureka.
“We value our board members and staff and the passion they have for the communities we serve. This Pay-It-Forward event is a small token of our appreciation toward all of the local organizations that make communities better places to live and work,” said GROW South Dakota CEO Marcia Erickson.
