Cultivating business success

Monday, February 08, 2016

According to a National Bureau of Economic Research study, companies less than 5 years old create the most jobs. This finding illustrates the importance of cultivating business startups.  They are the backbone of our economy.

But nine of ten start ups will fail. This fact makes organizations like the South Dakota Small Business Development Center (SBDC) critical. SBDC assists new entrepreneurs and existing businesses. They provide free business consulting services, including one-on-one counseling and training, to individuals starting a business or looking for ways to improve an existing business.

SBDC is hosted by GROW South Dakota and the University of South Dakota. Find out more about this wonderful business resource.
