Meeting the need for affordable housing

Monday, September 25, 2017

Housing is a basic human need. Without a roof over one’s head, it’s difficult to be optimistic about the future. Yet, a recent study by the Urban Institute found there's not enough affordable housing available for lower income families throughout the United States.

GROW South Dakota has been working locally to solve this problem for years. One way we do this is by offering affordable rental properties. We own apartment complexes in Milbank and manage apartments in Doland, Leola, Pollock, Sisseton, Tulare and Wilmot.

Some complexes have subsidized rent; elderly and disabled may qualify for rentals based on 30 percent of their income.

Find out more information about rentals or view an application on our website.
