Need help buying a house?

Monday, October 16, 2017

Rates of homeownership have hit an all-time low. Only about 63 percent of Americans own a home, the lowest rate since 1965. The primary reason is affordability. As housing costs have surged in recent years, many can’t even imagine a path forward to home ownership.

Thankfully, there may be help for the disheartened. GROW South Dakota offers assistance of up to $10,500 for a down payment or closing costs on the purchase of a home. Not only that, we offer resources and knowledge to help navigate the complicated process of home buying.

Our goal is to make sure first time home buyers are aware of all the responsibilities involved with buying a home, to ensure they can stay in their home for the long-term.
