We’re also a HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency and Housing Education Resource Organization (HERO), able to offer individual and online education for homeownership. This includes one-on-one guidance during the pre-purchase phase and financial management for homeowners, as well as rental counseling.

The importance of that milestone achievement is going to be different for everyone. For Geuke, getting the keys to her own home had a deep significance.

“It is a place to raise my two girls to have lifelong memories,” she said. She also has some advice to anyone who is discouraged, thinking there’s no way they will ever be able to own their own home.
