Beadle and Spink Enterprise Community (BASEC) Celebrates 30 Years
Thursday, January 30, 2025

Since December 12, 1994, BASEC has been a part of economic development for both Beadle and Spink Counties. With some start-up guidance from the Northeast South Dakota Community Action Program (NESDCAP), BASEC was established to address the unique needs of these counties and has played a key role in community development.
Over the past three decades, BASEC has generated an impressive $30 million in loans, directly contributing to the economic growth of both Beadle and Spink Counties. These loans have helped local businesses thrive, supported agricultural advancements, and enabled community projects to further benefit the community.
Today, BASEC stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and community-driven development. As we celebrate their 30 years of success, we look forward to their continued success and supporting their mission to create a brighter future for Beadle and Spink Counties.
